25th Annual Quilt Exhibit opening Saturday at View

The 25th Annual Northeast Quilts Unlimited Exhibition will open at View in Old Forge on Saturday, October 8 with the competitive exhibition featuring traditional and eclectic quilts and wall hangings created by quilting artists from across the country.

The exhibit will stay on display through November 30. Opening day will begin with a Quilting Lecture at 10 a.m. led by Molly Waddell, National Quilting Association Certified Judge and Juror of Awards for this year’s exhibition.

Pre-registration is required and the $15 non-member and $10 member fee includes exhibition admission.

The public can view the exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Throughout the day there will be quilt and quilted garment appraisals, demonstrations, and a 2 p.m. awards ceremony.

Following the distribution of awards there will be a Fat Quarter Drawing.

Bring along an 18” x 22” piece of fabric (a fat quarter) to be eligible to win the drawing for an entire pool of fat quarters.
