Webb P.D. reports law enforcement activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 28-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Driving While intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with Blood Alcohol greater than 0.08% and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with Blood Alcohol greater than 0.18% following an incident that occurred on Monday, April 4 at 9 p.m.

According to the report, a traffic stop on New York State Rt. 28 in Old Forge resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above charges. He was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.

• A 40-year-old Lowville man was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd degree and Driver’s View Obstructed on Tuesday, April 5 at 6:45 p.m.

According to the report, a traffic stop on the defendant in the Webb Police Station parking lot resulted in his arrest for the above charges.

Investigation revealed defendant was driving another party to the Webb Court while his licensed was suspended.  the defenant immediately answered charges at the regularly scheduled Webb Court session at 7 p.m. and was released to return at a later date.

• A 17-year-old Jamesville man was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Speed in Zone on Sunday, April 10 at 9:27 a.m.

Investigation into a traffic stop on NYS Route 28 in Okara Lakes resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above mentioned charges. He was issued appreance tickets returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.
