Services set for Beatrice A. McNally, 91

Beatrice A. McNally,91 of Old Forge passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.

She was born on November 10, 1924 in Glens Falls, NY, the oldest of three daughters, to William and Calista (Smith) McNally, Old Forge, NY.

Bea lived with her sister (Sophia McNally Roffe) on Adams Street. She had been employed at various businesses in the Old Forge area for over seventy years.

Bea loved her Adirondacks. She especially loved helping with young children.

Bea enjoyed visiting and helping numerous relatives in Lowville and Olmsteadville, NY.

Whether family, friend, or stranger; her out-going personality and gentle mannerisms touched everyone she met. Bea will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Bea is survived by her two sisters; Sophia McNally Roffe and Theresa (Tee) McNally Winslow, of Old Forge, NY and her family Margaret & Robert Montgomery, Charles B. Winslow, Jr., Diane & Chris Gaige, David Winslow, and Barb Winslow, all of Old Forge, and Edward & Debbie (Woods) Winslow, Buffalo, NY.

Also William and Laurie (Worden) Winslow, Old Forge, NY and their children; William “John” & Sarah ( Lukens) Winslow II, Old Forge, and Ryan & Jocelyn (Van Velsor) Winslow and their son Ezra and new  baby Skylar, Heber City, Utah.

She was predeceased by her great-nephew Adam Winslow in 2015.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Old Forge.

Calling Hour at St. Bartholo-mew’s Church will precede the funeral mass, from 12 noon ‘til 1 p.m. Online messages of sympathy may be left at www.dfwefh.com.
