During our Senior Health, Activity and Recreation program (SHARP) on Wednesday, February 17 we enjoyed having the Town of Webb School Kindergarten class come and sing some Valentine songs.
The children did a marvelous job singing to us and handed out Valentine cards.
Each child picked one senior to read to and then the seniors had a chance to read to them too. It was a very heart-warming time.
I want to thank the Kindergarten teacher, Hanna Payne, and her assistants for bringing the children.
I’d also like to thank Valerie Gaudin for playing the piano for them. Having these wonderful children visit, well, I can’t think of a sweeter gift!
It is not the years in your life but the life in your years that count in the long run.” —Adlai Stevenson
