Town of Webb Police Dept. report recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

A 57-year-old Oswego, NY woman was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3rd Degree and Speed in Zone following an incident that occurred on Thursday, February 4 at 4:19 p.m.

According to the report, Webb Police conducted a traffic stop on a grey SUV for speed, 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. Upon running the operator’s driver’s license through EJustice, patrol discovered the operator’s license had been revoked which led to the arrest of the defendant for the above charges.

She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.

A 25-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Menacing 2nd Degree following an incident that occurred on Tuesday, February 9 at 3:48 p.m.

According to the report, Webb Police conducted an investigation following the report of a domestic incident which led to the arrest of the defendant for the above listed charges.

He was arraigned at Town of Webb Court and remanded to Herkimer County Jail in lieu of bail.

A 53-year-old Newburgh, NY man was charged with Snowmobiling While Intoxicated, Operating Snowmobile on a State Highway, Failure to Keep Right, Failure to Comply with a Lawful Order, and Refuse to Take Breath Test following an incident that occurred on Saturday, February 13 at 8:40 p.m.

According to the report, the Town of Webb Police arrested the defendant for said charges following a traffic stop for operating a snowmobile on State Route 28. The man refused to stop his snowmobile for police on State Route 28 and was taken into custody a short time later on Riverside Drive.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court to answer to said charges on March 22, 2016.
