VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge, and the local Fulton Chain Craft Brewery (FCCB) will be working together over the next 10 months on multiple local offerings.

Beginning with VIEW’s 10th Annual Chili Bowl Luncheon on Saturday, February 20, FCCB will be offering samplings of their locally brewed craft beers.

Anyone who attends the Chili Bowl Luncheon will receive complimentary tastings of FCCB’s most popular craft beers.

VIEW and Fulton Chain Craft Brewery will offer “Brush & Brews” painting events that will be led by instructors and held at FCCB their North Street location.

Beginning in March, participants will enjoy some of FCCB’s custom brews and paint an Adirondack scene on canvas that they can take home at the end of the night.

Also planned for the near future are beer brewing workshops offered by VIEW but held on-site at Fulton Chain Craft Brewery.

People will learn how to brew their own beer in a Micro Brewery or in their home.

Justin Staskiewicz and Rich Mathy, owners and brew masters of FCCB, will be the instructors.

Last October the FCCB and The Back Door Bar teamed up with VIEW for and event, “Brewfest -The Art of Brewing Beer.” The event attracted people from all over Central New York to the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center and Pavilion on North Street.

The 2nd annual Brewfest is planned for October 15 at the same venue and will offer tastings from 60 micro breweries, live music, and food.
