A Snowmobile Poker Run will be hosted by the Inlet Barnstormers Snowmobile Club on Friday and Saturday, January 22 and 23, 2016.
When the Poker Run ends at 5 p.m. on Saturday, prizes will be distributed at a party at Daiker’s Inn.
The party will start at 5:15 Saturday with winners receiving cash payouts from a purse of $700.
There will be over 70 door prizes and a 50/50 raffle at Daiker’s, along with free hors d’oeuvres.
During the Poker Run, players will pick up a card at any of 25 participating establishments.
Each establishment will have stamps the back of the card. Players should go to as many as possible.
At least five different stamps will be needed, as the poker game is five-card stud.
At the conclusion of the Poker Run, a player’s stamped card should be brought to Daiker’s at 5:15 p.m.
The cost of each hand is $10, up to a maximum of ten hands.
No new hand will be dealt after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 23.
Players will draw one card for each different stamp (play best 5).
The best possible hand is a royal straight flush and the hands are ranked in this order: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs.
In case of a tie, five cards will be dealt to the ties.
First place is $300, second place is $200. and third place is $100.
There will be a special drawing of cards stamped from all sponsors for $100.
Winners must be present to win, and participants must be at least 18 years old.
Organizers of the event ask that participants ride safely, and don’t drink and ride.
