Webb Police Dept. reports recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 34-year-old Canastota woman was charged with Warrant/Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd and Using a Vehicle Without an Interlock Device on Thursday, October 29 at 2:40 p.m.

According to the report, the above listed defendant turned herself in on a Warrant for the charges listed above. She was arraigned by Judge John Graham and released on $100 cash bail and was ordered to return to court on Tuesday, November 10th.

• A 17-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Underage Possession of Alcohol with Intent to Consume on Friday, November 6th.

An investigation into a party on Sequoia Road resulted in the arrest of the man for igniting a large pile of pallets on fire in the middle of the roadway and was also found to be in possession of alcohol.

Webb Police were also assisted at the scene by the Old Forge Fire Department which was activated to extinguish the fire in the roadway and remove the debris.

The defendant was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Webb Court at a later date.

• A 23-year-old Old Forge man was charged with Prohibited Sale of Alcohol to a Person Under the Age of 21 Years on Saturday, November 7 at 7:45 p.m.

According to the report, an investigation into an underage party on Sequoia Road resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above charge.

It was determined that the defendant purchased beer at Fastrac for persons he knew to be under the age of 21 and made arrangements for the underage persons to retrieve the alcohol shortly thereafter. Same beer was seized from a minor who was present at an underage party on Sequoia Road by Webb Police. The defendant was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.
