Dr. Rebecca Miriam Brakeley Wall and Jesse Eilert Wall were married June 6, 2015 in Newry, ME. The ceremony took place atop North Peak, at Sunday River Resort.
The bride’s uncle, Reverend Dr. Bryan “Bucky” Kashiwa officiated.
Wedding music was orchestrated and performed by the bride’s uncle, Gannon Kashiwa and cousins Hennie and Charlie Kashiwa.
The bride’s “Men of Honor” were her brothers Gus and Harley Brakeley. Groomsmen were Cody Wall and Chris Smey. Ushers included three close friends.
The bride is the daughter of Coach Peter and Dr. “Jody” Kashiwa Brakeley of Middlebury, VT. Rebecca graduated from Middlebury College and the University of Vermont Medical School. She is a practicing Pediatric Hospitalist in Lewiston, ME.
The groom is the son of Mary and Doug Wall of South Paris, ME. Jesse holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He owns and operates a sports performance business and community gym called TruStrength Athletics located in Oxford, ME.
Following the mountain top ceremony, the couple celebrated with family and friends to funk band Shut Down Brown.
The traditional family specialty, alder smoked salmon was prepared to perfection by the bride’s uncles Hank Kashiwa and Tom Pepin.
The couple is settling into their new home in Oxford, ME. They would like to thank everyone who helped make their special day such a joyous celebration.
The bride is the granddaughter of Miriam Kashiwa of Old Forge, NY.
