CAP-21 hosted a gathering at Van Auken’s Inne on Wednesday, September 30 for the volunteers who assisted with this past summer’s hanging flower basket beautification project.

Though not all volunteers were able to attend the event, all were acknowledged for their efforts.

Volunteer waterers and the areas they covered were: Stillwater – Jackie and Frank Rudolph; Big Moose – Bill and Linda Keener; Eagle Bay – Bob and Eleanor Stanton and Steve and Diane Woods;  Old Forge – Fred and Carolyn Trimbach, Jimmy Cole, Tommy Smith, Bob Brussel, Deke and Carol Morrison; Thendara – Art and Connie Milligan.

“I would like to thank all those who helped water this past summer…and we are  looking for volunteer waterers for next year. Anyone who has some spare time and would like to help in this community project, please let us know!” said Nick Rose, executive director of CAP-21.

If you wish to donate to the Hanging Flower Basket please send donations to P.O. Box 642, Old Forge NY 13420, or contact CAP-21 at (315) 369-3353 or by email: info@cap-21.com.
