Town of Webb Police Dept. reports recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 56-year-old Clinton man was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd (misdemeanor) following an incident that occurred on Thursday, September 17 at 6:55 p.m.

According to the report, the defendant admitted to Officer Sege upon arrival at Town of Webb Court that his license was suspended after Officer Sege witnessed the defendant drive into the court parking lot.

The defendant was issued a ticket for the above charge and arraigned at Town of Webb Court during the same court session he was already attending for an unrelated charge.

• A 47-year-old Oriskany woman was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with a Blood Alcohol Level Over 0.08%, and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Level Over 0.18% following an incident that occurred on Saturday, September 19 at 9:05 p.m.

According to the report, an investigation into a hit and run property damage accident at the Old Forge Camping Resort resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above charges.

The defendant fled on foot after a vehicle became disabled in the woods and was located a short time later at a campsite in the resort by police.

She was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Webb Court at a later date.
