A new book, “From Forestport: A Poetry Collection,” by Parker Snead has been published and is available for purchase locally.
Snead, a resident poet from Forestport, features a unique style that he says is inspired by his time at sea, and the local people and life in the North Country.
The book is available at the Old Forge Hardware, Standard Supply Company in Otter Lake, and The Station Country Store at Forestport Station.
It is also available at The Forestport Diner and the Country Cabin Deli and Gift Shop in Forestport.
