Puppet Master Ken Carman returns to Old Forge with a puppet show on Saturday, August 8 at 1 p.m. that will take place at the outdoor patio of Five Corners Café at 3067 Main Street.
Carman, who has presented several puppet shows in Old Forge in the past, will present an original show, The Ghost of the Slimey Humperschnitzel with the Purple Mouth.
The family-friendly story is geared for pre-school and elementary age children though the message and performance will appeal to all ages.
The show is free of charge and sponsored by Souvenir Village and Five Corners Café.
All are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair and enjoy the open-air performance.
Carman is a 1972 graduate of the Town of Webb School and the son of Bill and Winifred Carman.
He owns a camp at Beaver River where he spends several weeks every summer.
