Webb Police Dept. reports recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following law enforecement activity.

A 34-year-old Charlotte, NC man was charged with Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, 3rd degree (misdemeanor) following an incident that occurred on Monday, August 3 at 12:02 p.m.

According to the report, the Town of Webb Police arrest of the man resulted from a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign while entering State Route 28 from the Fulton Street Spur.

A driver’s license check determined that the man’s driving privilege was suspended in New York state for failing to answer a summons in Rensselaer County in 1999.

The man was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Webb Court at a later date.
