Gwen Tracy Band to perform in Inlet

Gwen Tracy Band will perform during Inlet’s “Sunsets by the Lake” Summer Concert Series on Saturday, August 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Arrowhead Park Lakefront. All are welcome to bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a spectacular sunset. Rain location is Fern Park Pavilion.

Gwen Tracy is back on stage as The Gwen Tracy Band, with husband Chris Deuss on percussion/harmonica/mandolin, mom Bonnie Tracy on the bass, and dad Jim Tracy on vocals/guitar.

A longtime local favorite and Old Forge native, Gwen has been wowing music lovers from across Central New York for many years with her bluesy Janis Joplin-like voice.

She’s performed with the band Delia, musicians John Kribs and Orion Kribs, and most recently as a duo with her dad, Jim.

She lists her influences as Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, New Grass Revival, Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, and many more.

Inlet’s concert series is brought to you by the Town of Inlet, The Wine Shop, the Central Adirondack Association, The Adirondack Reader, French Louie ADK Sports and Eugene Melnyczuk.

This concert is also made possible, in part, with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency, through the Decentralization Program, administered in Hamilton County by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in Blue Mountain Lake.
