VIEW: Old Forge Antiques Show set to return

The Old Forge Antiques and Vintage Show and Sale returns to the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street in Old Forge on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

New this year is an early preview Wine & Cheese Party on Friday, July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Over 60 dealers will be on-site selling antique and vintage furniture, camp décor, oriental rugs, jewelry, hotel china, postcards, books, fine art, sporting goods, and taxidermy.

Returning dealers include Christiby’s, Past Time Antiques & Collectibles, Comstock Books & Antiques, Past Possessions and many more.

According to longtime event chairperson, Helene McAleese, dealers come from as far west as Michigan and as far south as Florida to take part in the show that attracts more than 1,500 visitors each year.

Parking is free, and there will be food and beverages available for purchase during show hours.

Admission is $6 per person, which allows entry for the entire weekend.

The Wine & Cheese early bird admission on Friday is $20. Proceeds from the event will benefit VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge. For a full list of dealers visit: ViewArts.org.
