The thrift shop at St Patrick’s Church in Forestport is open to everyone on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
Last year the thrift shop moved from the basement of the church to the bottom floor of the former rectory, the building next to the church.
The new shop is now two rooms and offers a much better layout to display clothing and shoes for all ages.
The weekly $2 bag sale is a great bargain and there is a nice selection of special occasion dresses, prom gowns and wedding gowns available for $10.
If you want to donate usable clothing, please use the clothing drop-off box in front of the building. All donations should be placed in tied bags
