Goodsell lawn lecture set July 16

Town of Webb Historian Peg Masters will kick off the Goodsell Museum’s summer Lectures on the Lawn series on Thursday, July 16 with a program, A Little Moose Lake Love Story.

Her slideshow presentation features the poignant, true-life story of a wealthy Westchester County young man and an “Adirondack Pocahontas” who fell in love on the shores of Little Moose Lake in 1882.

The presentation will be held in Goodsell Museum carriage barn at 2:30 p.m. The museum is located at 2993 State Route 28, across from the Old Forge Post Office.
