H. Stuart deCamp of Thendara has announced his intention to seek the office of Supervisor for the Town of Webb in the November election.
He is registered independent and will run as an independent candidate, he said.
DeCamp said he considers himself a positive force with diverse skills, that lend themselves well to setting and achieving goals.
“I can apply [these] in contributing to the growth and future stability of the Town of Webb,” deCamp said.
He said he would also like to contribute to the evolution of the Master Plan, as the Town of Webb goes into the update process now under way.
He ran for supervisor once previously, and deCamp said he views that as a good foundation on which to launch his 2015 campaign.
“I have had continued support and have been continually encouraged by Town of Webb residents and citizens,” he said.
DeCamp said he spoke to many voters during his last campaign and has continued to do so over the years.
“I have listened to their comments, and I have listened to their requests,” he said.
And deCamp said he is ready to address their issues as the Supervisor of the Town of Webb.
According to deCamp, short- and long-term planning are vital to the town, and he is confident that he can achieve a better future for those that live, work and visit the Town of Webb.
