The Enchanted Forest Water Safari and the Noonan Family are proud to present the 2015 J. Richard and Ruth E. Noonan Memorial Scholarship to six graduating seniors from the Town of Webb School.

J. Richard and Ruth E. Noonan were known as the grandparents of Enchanted Forest Water Safari and were strong believers in higher education.

All seven of their children and all of their grandchildren have attended college.

The funds for the scholarships are provided by the proceeds from Town Appreciation Day at the Enchanted Forest Water Safari.

Town Appreciation Day was held on Father’s Day Sunday, June 21 and provided a deep discount to qualifying “locals” in towns bordering Old Forge.

“We are proud to offer these scholarships in my parents’ names to promote higher education at the Town of Webb Schools,” said Timothy Noonan, President of Enchanted Forest Water Safari.

“The Noonan family and staff at Enchanted Forest Water Safari would like to thank all who attended Town Apprec-iation Day to honor this year’s graduates and would like congratulate all of the 2015 Town of Webb graduates,” he added.

The following students were awarded the scholarships at graduation practice Friday, June 26, 2015: Nicole Redpath, John Gaffney, Allyson Brosemer, Kalyn Olney, Mackenzie Kelly and Connor Glasser.
