Susan Rimato presented Nicole Redpath with the Robert Hazard Scholarship on Friday, June 12 at Sisters Bistro in Old Forge.
The scholarship is awarded to a Town of Webb School graduate who has exhibited outstanding performance in art or music during their school career.
Susan Rimato and her sons, Rex and Remington, created the
scholarship to support young artists in the Adirondacks, and to celebrate the creative life of their late husband and father, musician Robert Hazard.
“The Robert Hazard Scholarship especially supports young artists and musicians who actively display and perform their art. Nicole has been particularly active, producing wonderful art for shows in school and local galleries, including most currently at VIEW, and also for her design of the school yearbook,” Cunningham said.
Nicole, who will graduate on Friday, June 26, will be attending Buffalo State University in the fall where she will pursue a degree in Forensic Chemistry.
