Inlet Community Church readies Sunday Shuttle

Beginning June 14, Inlet Community Church will offer a free shuttle from Old Forge to the church each Sunday morning throughout the summer for its 10:15 a.m. service.

“As people flock to the Adirondacks in the summer for rest and relaxation, we hope to encourage many to deepen that respite by including refreshment for their souls,” said Pastor Phil Huber.

Pick-up stops will be at Lakeside Terrace at 9:35 a.m., Point Park at 9:40 a.m., and the Old Forge Camping Resort at 9:45 a.m.

The service is approximately one hour and the bus will load for the return trip 10 minutes after the close of the service. Typically guests would be back by noon.

There is no cost for the shuttle and reservations or tickets are not necessary. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Inlet Community Church is an evangelical protestant church that offers contemporary worship, relevant preaching, and friendly community. Nursery is provided and there is a program for children through age 5 during the service.

In addition to the main service at 10:15 a.m., there is also a Sunday School program for all ages at 9 a.m. and a discipleship group Sunday evening at 7 p.m. The church is open year round and the shuttle will run throughout the summer.

The church is located in the village of Inlet at 12 South Shore Rd, just up the hill from where South Shore Road runs into Rt. 28 in the center of town.

If you have any questions, you can call the church at (315) 357-2291.
