The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adiron-dacks, the Key Club and Jr. Key Club of the Town of Webb School washed 111 cars at their 15th Annual FREE Car Wash held Saturday, May 23 at the Calypso’s Cove Parking Lot in Old Forge.

The combined Kiwanis Club and Key Club effort raised over $2,000 at the event, the primary administrative fundraiser for the Club’s youth-oriented community programs.

The Kiwanis Club, Key Club and Jr. Key Club would like to thank the following for their continuing support:

The Noonan family at the Enchanted Forest/ Water Safari for the use of the Calypso’s Cove Parking Lot, The Rowe Family at The Donut Shop, Doug Clark of the Old Forge Car Wash and Old Forge NAPA for donation of car wash soap, Kinney Drugs for bottled water and chips, DiOrio’s Market for soda and the many sponsors and patrons who make this special fund-raising event possible.

We are especially thankful for the efforts of Key Club Advisor Diane Amos and special thanks to Bob and Diane Baker, longtime chairmen of this event, and their family for their efforts to help Kiwanis with this important fundraising event.

The 16th Annual Kiwanis FREE Car Wash is scheduled for Saturday, May 28, 2016.
