Memory Walk: Garden Planting Party slated for Saturday, June 20

Open Letter to the Community:

All are invited to join us at a Garden Planting Party as we help to find a cure for Alzheimer’s during our annual Memory Walk in Inlet on Saturday, June 20.

Keep this garden growing by planting a flower that represents someone in your life: a blue flower signifies those currently suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia; yellow is in support of someone you know with the illness; purple memorializes a life lost to the disease; and orange is to support the vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.

In the past we have honored four families that have attended the RCIL program here in Inlet. We would love to see members of those families come and plant some flowers with us on Saturday, June 20.

By supporting Sunset Nursing Home of Boonville this year, we are remembering those who used to attend our walks but are no longer able as they are currently living at the Nursing Home.

Please stop by and plant a flower, take a walk with us and be a part of our garden. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Arrowhead Park and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

Hope to see all of you here with us!
