Participating school districts included  Central Valley, Dolgeville, Frankfort/Schuyler, Poland and Town of Webb.

The trip was chaperoned by Dolgeville teacher Patricia Gracey, Town of Webb volunteer, Jon Bailey, Cornell Cooperative Extension employees Rachel Shaver and Wendy Richardson.

The students visited the Court of Appeals, Corning Tower, received a tour of the Capitol Building and were welcomed by Senator Hugh Farley.

After having a dialogue regarding current issues confronting Herkimer County and New York state, the group then visited the NYS Museum.
