McCauley Mountain will be open for a final day of operation on Sunday, April 12 from 9 a.m. until 4:10 p.m.

Lift tickets for non-pass holders are discounted to $10 for adults and $5 for children ages six to 18.

Because only the chair lift will be in operation (no beginner hill) McCauley Mountain Manager Steve Uzdavinis suggests that conditions are suitable for intermediate to expert level enthusiasts.

Skiers can expect variable conditions; there will be no grooming and bare spots can be expected.

All chalet services, including café and lounge, rentals and ski tuning are closed, however restrooms, lunch tables and WiFi will still be available in the ski lodge

A charcoal grill at the top of the mountain and a gas grill at the bottom are available for use.

Six to eight volunteers are needed to shovel snow at the top and bottom of the chair lift. The lift will open once shoveling has been completed so volunteers are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. Sunday with shovels.
