The Town of Webb Police Benevolent Association, MAC’s Safe Ride and the Herkimer County Stop DWI Program will host an upcoming TIPS course for bartenders/ servers employed by local establishments that serve alcohol
Training for Intervention Procedures, TIPS, is a skills-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking by enhancing the skills of servers and sellers of alcohol.
The course is free of charge and will be held at the Old Forge Fire Hall on Wednesday, May 13 at 11 a.m. Refreshments will be provided by the TOW PBA. Those who complete and pass the course are TIPS-certified for three years.
