Polar Bear Ski Club Nordic Youth athletes, along with Coach Janine Phaneuf, traveled to Dewey Mountain in Saranac Lake on Sunday, February 22 for a paintball race.

The event was a ski, shoot, ski, shoot, ski, shoot, ski race where each skier used a paintball gun to hit five targets. If they hit the target they were rewarded with a deduction of time from their total ski time.

The Polar Bears did very well at the range and on their skis.

In the U12 Boys 4.2 km race, Dawson Dunn took second place with a time of 18:19, hitting 15/15 targets.
