Registration is now open for the upcoming monthly Girls’ Night Out program at VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge.
Yoga and a Fused Glass Platter Workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 13 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The evening begins with a 45-minute Yoga class led by Kathy Queen. The class is suitable for all levels of ability.
Following the class, relax with a glass of wine, a hot cup of tea, and some treats and piece together a fused glass platter. No glass experience is necessary.
Using various shapes, colors, and types of glass create a unique 9- to 10-inch square glass platter.
Pieces are melted flat in the kiln, and then returned to the kiln in a mold to shape into a platter. Platters will be available for pickup the following week.
