Area churches have planned their services for Christmas eve, Christmas day and New Year’s eve and day.
Big Moose Chapel’s annual Christmas Candlelight service will be held Sunday, December 21 at 4 p.m. Reverend Lawrence Bartel of Niccolls Church will officiate at the service. Maureen VanSlyke will be the organist and lead the congregation in song.
St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church of Old Forge will hold its Christmas eve vigil service at 5 p.m. The Christmas day service will be held at 10 a.m. A New Year’s eve service will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 5 p.m.
St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Inlet will hold a Christmas eve vigil at 7:30 p.m. and a New Year’s service on Thursday, January 1 at 9 a.m.
Niccolls Memorial Church will hold a special Family Service at 5:30 p.m. Christmas eve.
A Traditional Candlelight Communion Christmas Eve Service will take place in the sanctuary of Niccolls Church at 10 p.m.
Raquette Lake Chapel will hold its Christmas eve service at 6 p.m.
Inlet Community Church will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7 p.m.
