Adirondack League Club Exhibit: Goodsell Museum Open House set Nov. 30th

The Trustees of the Town of Webb Historical Association invites members and the public to their annual Holiday Open House that will be held Sunday, November 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Goodsell Museum.

The Open House will mark the official opening of the featured exhibit, “100,000 Acres of Paradise: The Early History of the Adirondack League Club.”

The exhibit will offer a look into the ALC: its beginnings in 1890 and the club’s commitment to woodland preservation and animal conservation that changed NY State laws and practices.

All are welcome to stop by and enjoy refreshments and conversation with neighbors and friends.

The Goodsell Museum, located at 2993 State Route 28 in Old Forge, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. year round, and by appointment. Admission is free.

Donations and membership support are welcome and help the organization continue its mission to preserve, protect and exhibit objects from the Town of Webb.
