Town of Webb and Inlet Common School students, home-schooled students and the public are invited to the Old Forge Library on Thursday, November 20 for a program featuring author Gary VanRiper and illustrator Carol VanRiper.
The VanRipers will talk about the writing and publishing of their books and reading and writing in particular.
Activities will be ongoing from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Gary is an award-winning journalist, photo-journalist and children’s book author.
He and his son, Justin, co-author the popular Adirondack Kids children’s book series, while wife and mother Carol contributes the illustrations.
