The Town of Webb Health Center Fund is proud to announce that we have made a donation in the amount of $4,000 to Home Aide Service of the Central Adirondacks (HASCA).
In June, HASCA’s computer system failed and in spite of efforts at restoral, it had to be replaced, along with purchasing updated software and an on-line backup service to prevent future problems.
The donation also covered the cost to provide a training course for new home health aides, required by the New York State Department of Health.
On any given day HASCA helps individuals with personal care, laundry, nutrition, grocery shopping, meal prep, dishes, and just being there to listen.
They are an indispensible asset to our communities and the Health Center Fund is pleased to be able to lend financial assistance to them in their time of need.
