Town of Webb on track with its Police Chief recruitment

Supervisor Ted Riehle has reported that a large number of applications have currently been received in the search for a new Town of Webb Police Chief.

ā€œIā€™m optimistic that we have some very good potential candidates at this point and look forward to moving forward with the selection process,ā€ Riehle said.

Applicants are widespread from across the state, as well as out of state, he said, with many noting their familiarity with the area.

As described in the advertisement for the position, the town is seeking a candidate with strong supervisory skills who possess proven integrity in working with members of both the community and the police department.

The successful applicant should also have a minimum of five years of supervisory experience, preferably larger than the Town of Webb Police Department.

The salary range is advertised at $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience and depth of leadership and management ability.

Applicants are requested to submit resumes to Supervisor Riehle by Friday, October 24.
