The ADK Christmas on Main Street committee has begun organizing this year’s event that will be held the weekend of November 28, 29 and 30 and is requesting continued support by the community.
Businesses are encouraged to join in the festivities by decorating, hosting an activity and/or donating to the event.
Weekend schedules will go to print soon—and will also be available online at ADKChristmasOnMain.com. Anyone who would like to add an activity to the schedule should contact Laurie Barkauskas at laurieb@caany
.com or 369-6983, ext. 23 before Saturday, November 1st.
Committee members will be contacting area business owners within the next few weeks for support.
A suggested donation of $50 will help provide the event with visitor favorites such as reindeer, horse-drawn wagon rides, musical venues, bussing visitors from the train station to Old Forge, Santa and Mrs. Claus and much more.
Checks can be made payable to CAA, with Christmas on Main Street in the memo, and can be dropped off at the Old Forge Visitor Information Center.
