The Inlet Historical Society will hold its annual Membership Meeting in the Senior Room of the Inlet Town Hall on Wednesday, August 13 at 6 p.m.
The meeting will include members’ nomination/election of officers, present and future operations plans, reports about finances, membership, building usage, funding efforts and other affairs of interest to the membership.
At 7 p.m. the public is invited to learn about the history of Holl’s Inn in a presentation by Charles Herr that will be held at the Town’s meeting room.
Herr’s program will be accompanied by many photographs, including images of commemorative plates, and other information about the hotel.
Participating in the program will be Helen Holl Estabrook, daughter of Hans and Anna Holl, who will provide her unique perspective of life at Holl’s Inn as a child.
“We are especially appreciative of Helen’s presence at the presentation and welcome similar participation in future programs,” Herr said.
During the program, attendees are also welcome to share personal memories of their Holl’s inn experiences.
