Annual Old Forge Antique Show returns for 40th year, July 26 & 27

The Old Forge Antiques and Vintage Show and Sale, sponsored by VIEW,  returns to the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street in Old Forge on Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27th.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

There will also be special early buy hours on Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m.

This year’s show will feature over 50 dealers with an array of pieces including antique and vintage furniture, camp décor, Oriental rugs, jewelry, hotel china, books, fine art, sporting goods, and taxidermy.

Returning dealers include Windy Hill Antiques, Christiby’s, Tug Hill Peddlers, Fox River Sporting, and many more.

Helene McAleese, who has organized the show for several years, stated,

“We attract dealers from as far west as Michigan and as far south as Florida, so antique enthusiasts look forward to seeing what treasures are available each year,” said long-time event organizer, Helene McAleese.

The show attracts more than 1,500 visitors each year.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site from the Bear’s Den in Old Forge. Raffle tickets will be on sale for a kevlar Hornbeck Canoe and a hand-made quilt from the Pointed Pines Quilters.

Admission is $6 per person which allows entry for the entire weekend. The early bird admission on Saturday is $20. Proceeds from the event will benefit VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge.
