The Covey Pashley Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary is currently accepting applications for the Mary Russell Continuing Education Scholarship.
Named for late member, Mary Russell, the scholarship benefits a student who has plans to continue past his/her first year of post-high school education.
“Mary believed wholeheartedly in the value of higher education—be it college, technology school, graduate school, or trade school—and encouraged all she encountered to continue their education in some manner. We are proud to carry on her legacy,” said Judy Ehrensbeck, Legion Auxiliary Sergeant at Arms.
Any person who has completed at least one year of post-high school education and plans to continue his or her studies in the fall may apply.
