Additionally, the Health Center Fund is seeking to remind the community that its mission of providing support for local health care needs continues.
Currently an effort is under way to modernize the X-ray equipment from analog to state-of-the-art digital, including in the dental wing.
This will allow more convenient forwarding to other diagnostic professionals, that will benefit the patient with faster results.
The newer equipment will also allow for better and more accurate imaging with reduced exposure to radiation.
Ron Leszyk, a Fund board member, also emphasized the need for a facility that would attract the next generation of dental service providers to the local Professional Building.
“The community’s involvement and support is needed as much as ever, even as our local health facility continues to evolve,” he said.
