This summer, the 2014 Summer Benefit Choruses will support fund raising for an expanded sound system at Niccolls Church by performing “Singing the Whole Year Through” in concert on Thursday, August 7 at 7 p.m.

Directors Judy Barker and Marie Adams have assembled a varied program, offering something for all interests.

In Act I, a 35-voice choir of seasonal and year-round singers will take the audience through the liturgical year with the “joyful noise” of spirituals and light sacred songs.

Act II will take the audience through the calendar year on the voices of choristers, duos, soloists, trios and surprise performances, including some sing-along selections.

Donations will be accepted and support the purchase and installation of a sound system in the church’s public rooms that are used by many adult and youth groups throughout the year. There is no admission charge.

Seating will be limited, so early arrival is encouraged. More information is available by calling the church office at (315) 369-3475.

Niccolls Church is located on Crosby Blvd., next to the Old Forge Library.
