VIEW to host Forge Festival of Arts and Crafts on Friday, July 4

VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge, will host the Forge Festival of Arts and Crafts on Friday, July 4 in the Adirondack Bank parking lot located on Route 28.

The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature the works of 60 vendors.

Among the handmade items for sale will be pottery by Greg Rudd and Dean White, original paintings, and the jewelry of Mary Blanchard of Raquette Lake.

There will be several food vendors with over 20 varieties of homemade fudge as well as fresh roasted nuts, and cookies that will be baked on site.

“This is the 42nd year of this event and we are pleased to bring it back again this year as an outdoor event,”said Deborah Ritz, event coordinator. Prior to being held at Adirondack Bank, The Forge Festival was held at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street.
