Otter Lake Community Church starting 93rd season, June 29

The 153-year-old Otter Lake Community Church will begin celebrating its 93rd season of ministry with its first service of the season on Sunday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m.

All summer visitors are invited to services at this New York State and Nationally Registered Historic house of worship.

During the 10-week season, worship services will be conducted by guest pastors and special music will be offered.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m through August 31st.

Continuing the tradition of celebrating the church’s establishment in Otter Lake  a picnic will be held after the Church service on August 24th.

The Otter Lake Community Church was built in 1861 in Hawkinsville, New York.

It was relocated to its current site in Otter Lake in 1921.

The Church was placed on the New York State and National Registry of Historical Places in 2004.
