Tastefully Raunchy: View to host comedy cabaret act on Friday, June 6

Laughter will fill Gould Hall at View on Friday, June 6 as the comedy duo Sandy and Richard Riccardi take to the stage to showcase their musicianship and singing talent in a cabaret setting.

The performance by the husband and wife team, titled “Tastefully Raunchy,” will begin at 8:30 p.m. and is part of View’s After Art Walk series.

Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

The San Franciso-based Riccardis’ witty and satirical songs comment on a variety of social, political and personal issues that have received well over three million hits on YouTube, and earned them engagements across the country.

Sandy, a jazz and classical soprano, received her Bachelor of Music degree from Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C., and her Master of Music degree in vocal performance from Manhattan School of Music in NYC.

She spent 11 years in NYC as a member of The New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players as well as performing with other musical theater companies and productions.

Richard has played with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, and The Lamplighters.

He also frequently plays with the Skywalker Symphony which performs for major motion pictures and video game productions.

He received his Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Oberlin College and his Master of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from Yale University.

Tickets are $20 or $15 for View members.
