The 14th Annual Kiwanis and Key Club Free Car Wash will be held Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Calypso’s Cove parking lot in Old Forge.
This is the annual event that provides funds for the administration and operations of all the many Kiwanis children’s activities that take place during the year.
Individuals can sponsor Kiwanis and High School Key Club members to increase the success of this important community event by pledging a specific amount per car washed or a set amount.
For example, if you pledge 10 cents per car and 100 cars are washed you pay $10, or you might consider a pledge of a set amount no matter how many cars are washed. Either way you contribute to the many youth-oriented programs for kids in the Central Adirondacks.
Rain date of the event is Sunday May, 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
