A record-sized crowd gathered at McCauley Mountain on Saturday, March 29 for the Snowmaker’s Ball, an annual fund-raising event that supports the Kinderwood Preschool Program.
Close to 100 people enjoyed dinner, dancing to tunes spun by DJ Colin Clark, and raffles.
“This year personified exactly what the Snowmaker’s Ball is about…having a great time for a great cause. It’s a come-as-you-are event, with some people coming straight from the slopes wearing their ski attire to others arriving in more formal wear. And the bottom line is that everyone has a lot of fun,” said Kinderwood board member Sharon Finkle-Kleps.
Kinderwood board members provided various themed-baskets for raffling throughout the evening. Kate Russell was the winner of the 50/50 raffle and donated her $384 share of the winnings back to Kinderwood.
On behalf of the board, Finkle-Kleps acknowledged Nick Bankert and Felicity Davey for the buffet dinner and Colin Clark for donating his services for the event.
