Major snowmobile manufacturers representing Arctic Cat, Polaris, SkiDoo and Yamaha will reveal their 2015 models at the 7th Annual Snofest at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street in Old Forge on March 7, 8, and 9th.
The weekend will include demo rides, snowmobile accessory vendors, live music, ice carvings and raffles.
On Saturday, North Country Heli-flight will be on location to give helicopter rides, weather permitting.
A fireworks display at 6:30 p.m. will top off the day.
On Sunday, Snofest continues with vendors and demo rides from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Towns of Webb and Inlet are offering a special Snofest trail permit promotion that runs from March 7 through 10th.
Buy your 2014-2015 snowmobile trail permit at the preseason rate of $65 and ride the trails the rest of the season free.
Trail permits must be purchased in person at either the Old Forge or Inlet Visitor Information Center.
All weekend long, food and beverages from the Trails End Saloon will be available for purchase at the pavilion. Plus, there will be door prize give-aways every hour.
Admission and parking are free. Signage will indicate parking areas and shuttle buses will be running to transport event goers.
