Two Polar Bear U-16 Alpine racers have qualified to compete against other racers representing the entire northeast at separate racing venues from March 6 through 10th.
Cy Barkauskas and Carter Lawrence
Carter Lawrence qualified third for the Eastern Championship Team and will race close to home at Whiteface Mountain from March 6 through 10th. Cy Barkauskas qualified third for the Eastern Final Team which will be competing at Sunday River, ME from March 6 through 9th.
Top competitors at these races will advance to the Can-Am competition held later in March at Mt. Tremblant, Canada.
For the past five-plus years, these two Polar Bear Ski Club athletes have advanced to the highest level of competition for their age groups.
