The community is invited to gather at Niccolls Memor-ial Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, December 10 to take part in a special “Service of Remembrance,” a service for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, lonely, or facing challenges during the Christmas season.
The service begins at 7:30 p.m. and will include prayer, scripture, music by the Niccolls choir and instrumentalist Bob Liddle, and the symbolic act of candle lighting.
“Loved ones who have enriched our Christmas celebrations in the past and who are no longer with us continue to be very much in our thoughts especially during the holiday season. They will be remembered and honored during the service,” said Judy Barker, co-chair of the church’s Worship Committee.
Niccolls Memorial Church is located at 228 Crosby Blvd. in Old Forge next to the library.
