Niccolls Memorial Presby-terian Church will hold its Christmas eve Family Candlelight Service at the Moose River Farm of Anne and Rod Phinney on Rondaxe Road.
The story of Jesus’ birth, according to the gospel of Luke, will be told surrounded by horses, donkeys, goats, dogs and even a potbellied pig. Through spoken word and carols, the Christmas story will be told by participants of all ages in this unique and authentic atmosphere.
Due to limited parking, a school bus will shuttle people from the Niccolls Church parking lot to the Moose River Farm starting at 4:30 p.m. The candlelight service begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Phinneys have invited participants to walk through their barn to greet the animals, sip warm drinks and enjoy live Christmas music until the service begins.
All who are interested in attending are asked to call the church office at (315) 369-3475.
The church’s Traditional Candlelight Communion Christmas Eve Service will be held at 10 p.m.
Niccolls Memorial Church is located at 228 Crosby Blvd. in Old Forge, next to the library.
