Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free to the 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. performances of The Old Forge Ballet Co.’s production of The Nutcracker ballet on Saturday, December 7.
The opportunity is made possible through the generosity of Friends of the Old Forge Ballet Company, said Ballet School Director Sue Ann Lorenz Wallace, who feel it is important to make the cultural event available to more young people in the community.
Members of the community who would like to help the Old Forge Ballet Company with this endeavor can become Friends of The Old Forge Ballet Company.
Donations of any amount to help offset the expenses of bringing this annual production to a wider audience can be sent to: Old Forge Ballet Co., P.O. Box 26, Old Forge, NY 13420.
The names of donors will be included in the ballet’s program if received by November 22.
Pre-sale tickets for the ballet are $10 for adults/seniors and teens and are available at The Naked Moose, the TOW Bar, and Mountain Greenery all of Old Forge.
